Legal Consultations During Coronavirus Pandemic

The novel coronavirus has arrived, bringing with it a host of non-health related consequences, including the potential for massive legal and economic issues.
While many courts have closed their doors to hearings and other formal proceedings, lawsuits and other emergency actions can still be filed.
Criminal cases, Protection From Abuse (PFA) cases, bankruptcy proceedings, tax sales and petitions, civil lawsuits, personal injury lawsuits, mortgage foreclosures, sheriff sales, and evictions can still be filed throughout Pennsylvania.
Even though it may seem like the world is quickly grinding to a halt, the legal process will keep marching on in some capacity.
If your rights are being threatened and you need to legally restructure your financial position, file for bankruptcy, or pursue financial interests which require legal intervention, reach out to us immediately for a free consultation.
Kenny, Burns & McGill remains open to your legal inquiries and we will continue offering free legal consultations by telephone, video conference, and in-person (as necessary) throughout the pandemic. Call or text us for more information: (215) 423-5500.

(Rev. 4/1/2020) Effective April 1, 2020, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has closed to the public all Pennsylvania Courts until at least April 30, 2020.
Emergency filings will still be accepted and proceeds may continue on a case-by-case basis. All other court dates between then and now will be rescheduled and all applicable deadlines have been extended.
Rest assured that Kenny, Burns & McGill is still working on all active cases and we are always available to discuss new legal matters as they arise.
Despite the coronavirus restrictions in place at courts and prisons throughout the state, we continue to advocate for all of our clients however we can. We specialize in providing top-notch legal services in high pressure situations and our dedication to our clients will never change.

We recognize that this is an incredibly difficult time for most people. Please stay healthy and safe and let us know if you have any questions or need to speak with an attorney regarding any legal matter.
