Attorney Eileen Burns received a favorable opinion today, published by a judge of the Pennsylvania Federal Eastern District Court: our client, who has sued the City of Philadelphia in connection with the injuries he sustained in prison during a brutal assault by correctional officers, is allowed to move his case forward to trial, defeating a powerful legal challenge by the City of Philadelphia to have the case thrown out.
