New Jersey Philly Criminal Lawyer

New Jersey Philly Criminal Lawyer. Yesterday two great results for the clients of Kenny, Burns & McGill.

First, a man in his sixties who had remarried later in life to a younger woman, falls prey to an attack from her and her new husband. He is charged with Felony Aggravated Assault and Felony Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, Criminal Mischief, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and other related offenses. The incident stems from a car accident of the former couple’s youngest child.

Emotions run raw and the Government alleges that client attacked the newlyweds. Worse yet, client gets arrested out of state in Maryland on a warrant he did not even know about and gets held as a fugitive of justice for allegations that have not even seen the light of a courtroom yet.

Clients jump into action and hire Philly Criminal Lawyer Thomas Kenny to represent his interests. Attorney Kenny jumps into action and ensures that client gets out of incarceration out of state. Following that, Attorney Kenny, secures bail for the client at the preliminary arraignment and yesterday the Government’s evidence was tested in a court room for the first time at a preliminary hearing.

After the Preliminary Hearing is held, The Honorable Court discharges the Felony Aggravated Assault, the Felony Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Great result for client!

Also yesterday, a client was caught with carrying a loaded firearm with hollow point bullets while driving in New Jersey without a permit. Client was pulled over for a routine traffic stop after allegedly failing to use a turn signal in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Police eventually arrest client for the loaded firearm recovered in the car and client is held in jail pending a detention hearing. The State of New Jersey files a detention motion against the client because carrying a loaded firearm in New Jersey without a license allows for a presumption of jail.

Client hires New Jersey Criminal Lawyer Eileen Burns to represent her interests. After much investigation, Attorney Burns is able to convince the Prosecutor that the detention motion can be withdrawn and client is allowed to leave jail and go back to her job and family. Client goes home!
