Approx. $500,000 Settlement for Personal Injury Clients

The personal injury team at Kenny, Burns & McGill is very pleased to announce that a settlement of nearly $500,000 has been secured for our clients who were assaulted at a Philadelphia amusement facility.

Our clients were enjoying their time at a local attraction until they were approached by the facility’s security officers. This interaction turned into an altercation, which quickly became a negligent attack on our clients by the officers.

Our clients were hospitalized with severe injuries. With medical bills from the attack piling up, they reached out to the talented Civil Litigation Attorney Eileen Burns at Kenny, Burns & McGill to find out if she had any legal recourse.

Attorney Burns took a hard look at all the facts of the case – that the clients had been attacked by people employed by the facility, that the clients had been hospitalized and had to endure months of rehabilitation, and that the clients had been permanently damaged– and Personal Injury Lawyer Burns put together an airtight case for her clients.

After skillfully presenting and defending her case, Ms. Burns was able to settle with the amusement facility for nearly half a million dollars in compensation for her client’s injuries. This is a wonderful outcome that will help our clients to pay their medical bills and get back on their feet, but no amount of money will be able to cure the permanent injuries they sustained in this attack.
