Defendants J.D. and G.A.D. were facing a motion for contempt and imposition of sanctions in Montgomery Court of Common Pleas at 2 E. Airy Street, Norristown, PA 19401. The case originally stemmed from a settlement agreement regarding use of a condominium for Air BNB rentals. Plaintiff, a local condominium association, suspected that defendants were in contempt of a court order and filed a motion for contempt and imposition of sanctions. The defendants hired Thomas Kenny, of Kenny, Burns & McGill for legal help. Attorney Kenny filed a response denying all of the material allegations that Plaintiff averred in their motion and a hearing was set up in due course. Plaintiff, called multiple fact witnesses and a Chemist as an expert in a prolonged hearing. Attorney Kenny vigorously cross examined all the witnesses adduced by the Plaintiffs and defended the action zealously. After the hearing, the court found that the defendants were not in contempt of the previous settlement, a complete victory for client.
