Motion to Suppress Yields Great Result in Lebanon County

One of our clients facing drug trafficking charges in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, had potential evidence against him excluded from his case. The government seized an alleged “burner” phone from the client during his arrest. The evidence on the phone might have proven difficult for the defense.

Kenny, Burns & McGill filed an omnibus motion to suppress the seizure of the phone as violation of constitutional rights under both the Pennsylvania and United States Constitutions. After the government agreed  not to use any evidence derived from the phone for the upcoming trial, the motion was withdrawn and the case now moves forward to trial. Helping to limit potentially damaging evidence against a client is job number one for any criminal defense team hired to protect a client’s rights.
