Philly courts are slowly opening back up amidst the coronavirus pandemic. As of the end of July, some civil bench trials can start taking place, but civil juries are still pretty far down the road.
Of course, this is all subject to change, pending the status of the coronavirus pandemic and its infection rates throughout the area.
Below is a notice to the bar which was released by the Court:

As attorneys, we cannot wait to get back into the courtroom, fighting for our clients. As trial attorneys, is what we are trained to do and it is what we wake up every day for. Nonetheless, our advocacy continues behind the scenes, on paper, and in limited fashion in Philly courts and throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
